CMBC Parent Partnership

Our setting always strives to be more than just childcare. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with families and are always trying to find ways to support  parents and their children. Please let us know if you are interested in any of the support options listed below:

Parent Partnership Meetings

Each half term we will be holding Parent Partnership Meetings. These are an opportunity for parents and staff members to sit with a cup of tea and cake and discuss a variety of topics. We will also have a knowledgeable expert and guest speakers to provide information to our parents. The topics discussed this year will include:

- The Early Years Foundation Stage - what is expected of my child while at preschool?

- Toilet Training

- Dental hygiene for children (delivered by local Dental Nurse)

- Eating well for less (delivered by the representative for London Healthy Early Years)

- Behaviour management

- Helping to develop communication

- School readiness (getting ready for Reception)

Please speak to Aimee for more information on the meetings.

- Toilet training support

- New baby support

Please ask your keyworker if you would like a resource bag other than those listed.

Library books and
story sacks

We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books for the children to use at the preschool and are always happy for parents to take books home.

For a selection of our books, we have created story sacks. These are bags containing the story book and either puppets or figurine of the characters in the book to help bring it to life!

We are always able to help parents with referrals to local food banks or baby banks. Please arrange an appointment with Aimee if this is something you need.

Alternatively, we often have our own 'bank' of children clothing and toiletries to help families in need. Please let us know if you require anything and we will do our best to help.
